Seven doors, five types, three decks

Three cabins sit on the upper deck: the Master Suite Ocean and the two Deluxe Ocean cabins. The main deck has one, the Master Ocean. The other three are on the lower deck, two Superior cabins and the Sharing Cabin.

Every cabin is air-conditioned and has its own bathroom. All but the Sharing Cabin have one double bed; the Sharing Cabin has two bunk beds, four single berths.

Cabin sizes are not published, so none is given here, and there is no published count of the steps between decks either.

For a party of three generations, it helps to read the boat deck by deck. Grandparents who would rather avoid stairs should look at the main deck first, and parents who want a terrace at the upper deck. Children who like a bunk will find the berths on the lower deck, in the Sharing Cabin.

Master Suite Ocean: terrace, tub and a third bed

Of all the cabins, the Master Suite Ocean on the upper deck has the most features. Alongside the double bed is a pull-out extra bed, so a third guest can sleep there. The en-suite bathroom has a freestanding bathtub, visible in the operator's photographs, and a private terrace faces the sea.

That third bed is the one place where the boat stretches past sixteen. It suits a grandchild, or a grandparent who wants to stay close to a daughter. On the open trip, the third guest is IDR 3,750,000 (≈ USD 230). On a whole-boat charter, the seventeenth guest is quoted on request.

Day 1, evening, at anchor: the terrace is private and faces the sea, so a parent can sit apart while the children eat elsewhere on the boat. The view on any given night is up to the weather.

Berths per cabin, counted

Counted cabin by cabin: the Master Suite Ocean sleeps two in its double bed, or three with the extra bed. The Master Ocean, each Deluxe Ocean and each Superior has a double bed for two. The Sharing Cabin has four single berths in two bunk beds.

That makes 16 berths in the base plan, plus a seventeenth on the extra bed. A child can share a parent's cabin. Only the Master Suite Ocean sleeps a third person, so a couple with two children needs either the Master Suite plus a second cabin, or two cabins side by side.

No twin setup, with two single beds in place of the double, is published. Ask us, and we answer in writing before you pay.

The Master Suite extra bed brings the bed count to 17. Soe Besar Vanrei is sold for 16 guests overnight on a private charter.

Main deck for one, upper deck for three, lower deck for three doors

One cabin, the Master Ocean, has the main deck to itself. It has a double bed, a shower bathroom and wide windows. Every other cabin is reached by a stair, up or down, so for a grandparent this is the cabin with the fewest stairs between the door, the bed and the bathroom. Some stairs remain on the way to the shared spaces, because the deck of each shared space is confirmed in writing.

The upper deck has three cabins, all reached by a stair, and its two Deluxe Ocean cabins have sea-view windows but no balcony. Going down, the lower deck has three more: the two Superiors, each with a double bed and portholes, and the Sharing Cabin with its four berths.

Step-free access is not claimed. Boarding at the harbour and landing on the islands involve steps too. If a guest struggles with stairs, or uses a wheelchair or a walker, ask us first and we describe each step in writing.

One cabin seat, priced per person

On the 3D2N open trip, a cabin is priced per person, two sharing. The Master Suite Ocean is IDR 9,500,000 (≈ USD 583), the Master Ocean IDR 8,500,000 (≈ USD 521), the Deluxe Ocean IDR 7,750,000 (≈ USD 475) and the Superior IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337). The Sharing Cabin is IDR 3,850,000 (≈ USD 236) per person, which here means per bunk.

A third guest on the Master Suite extra bed adds IDR 3,750,000 (≈ USD 230). The rates are the 2026 rates, in effect from 22 April 2026. For 2027 they are on request, and the 2026 list stays the reference.

One warning for families. In the Sharing Cabin on the open trip, other guests can be placed in the spare bunks. If four relatives want all four berths, say so when you ask for dates, and we confirm in writing whether the cabin is theirs. A private cabin takes the question away.

Solo travellers and families

One guest on the open trip: a bunk in the Sharing Cabin is sold per bed at IDR 3,850,000 (≈ USD 236), shared with other guests.
One guest alone in a double cabin: single use is quoted in writing before you pay.
Who shares the Sharing Cabin: we confirm the cabin mix in writing; same-gender sharing is not promised.

Which costs sit in the seat fare

The seat fare covers more than the berth. Meals, free-flow water, tea and coffee come with it, and so do snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards. It also covers transfers between a Labuan Bajo hotel or the airport and the harbour, a local guide, and photo and video documentation. Jasa Raharja passenger accident cover is part of the open-trip seat.

Outside the seat: the national park package, which is paid in full at the deposit because of visitor quotas, plus extra drinks, tips and your flights. A private charter works differently, since its guide and documentation are quoted separately.

If the boat is replaced, the guarantee is the same on every booking: a boat of equal or higher class on the same date at no extra charge, or a full refund within 2 days.

Hot water in the cabins is confirmed in writing before you pay. If a boat or cabin cannot be offered, the replacement-boat guarantee on the charter page applies.

What separates the Master Suite, Master Ocean, Deluxe, Superior and the Sharing Cabin?

The Master Suite Ocean sits on the upper deck with a bathtub, a terrace and a third bed. The Master Ocean is on the main deck. The two Deluxe Ocean cabins are upper deck without a balcony. The two Superiors are lower deck with portholes. The Sharing Cabin holds four bunk berths.

Which cabin has the fewest stairs for a grandparent?

The Master Ocean, the only cabin on the main deck. A grandparent sleeping there does not climb or descend to reach the cabin. Step-free access is not claimed, some stairs remain on the way to the shared spaces, and boarding involves steps, so ask us first.

Does every cabin have its own bathroom?

Yes. There are seven cabins and seven bathrooms, so nobody queues. Most have a shower, and the Master Suite Ocean has a freestanding bathtub. The Sharing Cabin has its own bathroom too. Hot water in the cabins is confirmed in writing before payment.

Are the beds double, twin or bunk, and can we make a twin?

Each double cabin has one double bed, and the Sharing Cabin has two bunk beds with four single berths. A twin setup is not published for any cabin. Ask us and we answer in writing before you pay.

Do the cabins have air conditioning and hot showers?

Every cabin is air-conditioned. Hot water in the cabins is confirmed in writing before payment, so if it matters to a grandparent or a small child, ask us first.

Can a child share a parent's cabin, and can a family take the bunk cabin?

Yes, a child can share a parent's cabin, and the Master Suite Ocean fits a third guest on its extra bed. The Sharing Cabin sleeps four, and on the open trip other guests can be placed in it. A whole-boat charter, or a private cabin, removes that question. If the boat itself cannot sail, a replacement of equal or higher class is offered on the same date.

Can I book a Komodo trip for 2027 already?

Yes, 2027 can be reserved. Open-trip dates follow the Friday and Monday calendar, a private charter can be held for any free date, and we send the 2027 rate on request with the 2026 table as the reference. Date, cabin and total are confirmed in writing before payment.
