Booking in steps, WhatsApp first
Booking starts on WhatsApp, never at a website checkout. Write to us there, which we answer Daily 08:00–20:00 (WITA), with your month, the number of adults, the ages of the children and the number of grandparents. Ages matter, because a child aged 0 to 2 travels free and anyone from age 3 pays the full fare.
We reply with the open dates, a written quote and the cabin plan. For the whole boat, that means the price for your stay. For a cabin on the open trip, it is the seat fare by cabin, confirmed live against the boat's calendar.
Next comes the deposit. Once it is in, we send the pre-departure form, where you note any meals asked for in advance, such as non-spicy food. A second message nearer the date carries the pickup details.

Money in order: deposit, balance, park fee
Money moves in three steps. The deposit is 50 percent of the booking and secures the date. The balance is due 30 days before sailing; instead of a bank payment, it can be settled in cash or by card on departure day, with the card machine fee added.
The national park package is the third line. It is quoted per trip type and paid in full at the deposit, because the park limits visitor numbers.

Deposit 50% to confirm, balance 30 days before departure. You can also settle the balance in Labuan Bajo on the departure day, in cash or by card on the EDC machine.
Paying from abroad: methods and fees
From abroad, a card link carries 3 percent, PayPal 7.2 percent and a card machine on departure day 3 percent. Wise, Revolut, QRIS and bank transfer are accepted too. There is one bank account, and it is given on the invoice.
Alipay works with the guest bearing the fee. WeChat Pay runs through our payment partner. UnionPay is not promised. Your own bank adds its own charges on top, which we cannot see.

If the dates move or the trip is dropped
A date change made 30 days or more before sailing is free. Between 14 and 29 days, it costs IDR 500,000. Inside 13 days, a change counts as a cancellation.
A cancellation made 60 days or more before sailing refunds 50 percent, one made between 30 and 59 days refunds 25 percent, and inside 29 days nothing is refunded. The full terms are on the terms page.
If the boat is replaced or cannot sail, the cases run like this:
- Replacement of equal or higher class: same date, no extra charge.
- Replacement declined, none available, or a lower class offered: the full refund follows within 2 days.
- Weather closure: decided by the captain and the harbour, and we tell you in writing what follows.

What we ask each guest for
The manifest needs a few details from every guest. We collect each name as it appears on the passport, an ID number and nationality, along with flight times in and out of Labuan Bajo and any dietary needs. ID details are due 7 days before sailing.
For children we ask for age and weight, so that life jackets in the right size are confirmed in writing at booking. We note any request for non-spicy food. If a grandparent needs support on the stairs, tell us in the first message and we describe the steps in writing.
A solo guest on the open trip takes a Sharing Cabin bunk at IDR 3,850,000 (≈ USD 236), shared with other guests; a double cabin for one is quoted in writing before you pay. We confirm the cabin mix in writing, and same-gender sharing is not promised.
For your flights. Pickup is in the morning in Labuan Bajo, so arrive the day before or on an early flight. Book your flight home for the late afternoon or the next day. We confirm the exact return time in writing at booking.
Hot water in the cabins and wheelchair access are confirmed in writing before any payment, so ask us first.

A change 30 days or more before sailing is free. From 14 to 29 days before, it costs IDR 500,000. Closer than that, it is treated as a cancellation. Write to us as soon as plans move, and we check the calendar.
