Soe Besar Vanrei Phinisi
Four days, with room to stop
Updated 8 November 2026
A Komodo 4 days 3 nights route at a grandparents pace: Soe Besar Vanrei repeats the 3D2N stops, then adds Kanawa, Gili Lawa, Sebayur and Bidadari. The whole boat costs IDR 243,000,000 (≈ USD 14,908), and twelve guests pay IDR 20,250,000 (≈ USD 1,242) each. It is an example route, agreed with the captain.
Four-day transect with room to stop
Four days and three nights at anchor, Labuan Bajo to Labuan Bajo. The first two days follow the three-day route. Days three and four cover new ground at a slower rhythm: a snorkel, a walk, another snorkel, and a last island before the harbour.
This is an example route. The order is agreed with the captain, and weather can change it. The effort grades hold even when the order moves, so the family can settle who walks before leaving the harbour.
Nobody has to leave the boat, at Kanawa, Gili Lawa, Sebayur or anywhere else. A grandparent who skips Padar and every walk still sees each stop on the list, from the deck or the water.

Times here are patterns, not a timetable. Pickup and return times are confirmed when you book, so choose a late-afternoon flight home.
First pair of entries retrace the shorter transect
Days one and two retrace the shorter transect. Day one is Kelor, a short hill walk; Manjarite, a snorkel; and Kalong at dusk, watched from the boat. Day two is Padar, the optional ridge, then Pink Beach, Komodo with a ranger, and Manta Point and Taka Makassar.
What a four-day stay changes is the pace, not the list. Padar and Komodo can fall on different mornings, so the oldest walker sets the day instead of the timetable. The details are on the three-day page and are not repeated here.
Day 2, morning, Padar: the climb is optional, and whoever stays aboard keeps the boat. Mantas are never promised; the current has the last word.
New ground: Kanawa, Gili Lawa, Sebayur, Bidadari
Day 3 is Kanawa, a snorkel; Gili Lawa, a walk; and Sebayur, another snorkel. Gili Lawa is graded short to optional, and the two snorkels are easy.
Day 4 is Bidadari Island, then the harbour and the transfer to your hotel or the airport. That keeps the last morning short and leaves the oldest guest time for a proper breakfast on deck. Bidadari is the last stop.
For your flights. Pickup is in the morning in Labuan Bajo, so arrive the day before or on an early flight. Book the flight home for the late afternoon or the next day. We confirm the exact return time in writing at booking.
The extra stops make this an example route; the final order is agreed with the captain.

FAQ
What does the fourth day add?
Kanawa, Gili Lawa and Sebayur on day three, then Bidadari on day four, all at a slower pace than the three-day route. It is an example route, and the order is agreed with the captain. Padar and Komodo can fall on different mornings.
Is the fourth day worth it for a family with young children?
Day three holds two snorkels and one walk, which suits children who need a change of island, and day four is a short stop before the harbour. Children aged 0 to 2 travel free, and the full fare starts at age 3. Ask us about life jackets in their sizes.
Does the price rise much on the 4D3N?
The boat sum rises in equal steps with each night: IDR 162,000,000 (≈ USD 9,939) for 3D2N and IDR 243,000,000 (≈ USD 14,908) for 4D3N. Sixteen guests pay IDR 15,190,000 (≈ USD 932) each on the four-day stay. The park package is billed beside it.
